#23 - Heatwaves, Harrogate, Masham and a Cowboy Hat
It's been a busy few weeks.

Welcome to my personal blog where I share my adventures in running and my passion for craft beer. As I’ve hit the big 5-0, I wanted a space to log my experiences, stories, and the occasional musings – often with a cold brew in hand. Its unedited, unfiltered, and just for the sheer joy of it.
This blog is a personal project, a digital diary of sorts, where I combine two of my great loves: running and craft beer. Think of it as a chronicle of my physical challenges on the road and trails, followed by the rewarding exploration of unique and delicious craft beers and how I sometimes join them together.
You won't find perfectly polished prose or meticulous proofreading here. This is raw, authentic storytelling, capturing the immediate thoughts and feelings of my journey. While it's primarily for my own enjoyment, I hope you might find a tale or two that resonates with you.

A short one this time... although, as with most beer-related discussions, it might end up being longer than intended.

Given how long it took me to get the last blog written, I thought I'd better get this one out while the memories are still vaguely fresh.

I know there was quite a gap between Blog 17 and Blog 18, but the delay to this one has been bordering on ridiculous.

Blimey. Has it really been that long since the last update?

It's been one of those periods where brewing, beer and running have conspired to remind me that very little ever goes exactly to plan.

It's been a little while since I last posted, which usually means one of two things: either nothing interesting has happened, or so much has happened that I've forgotten half of it.

It was always going to happen eventually.

I'm now deep into what runners lovingly refer to as the peak training block.

Since my run to Ludlow and the unexpectedly memorable day and evening that followed, it's been a case of getting my head down and returning to the increasingly serious business of training.
